I'm actually well aware of the issue—my wife and I built a Passivhaus and that was one of the issues we had to account for.   We live in Vermont.   :)

The reason I said what I said on the list is that it's a pretty safe bet that if you are in a tropical environment, there are going to be mold issues unless the venue is taking really careful and deliberate action to avoid them.   Simply moving to a subtropical or northern climate doesn't mean there won't be, and I didn't mean to imply that.
