No, the purpose of NAPTR records was to provide a scheme for 'resolving'
URNs.

Using NAPTR for any other purpose is a terrible idea. They have regular
expressions and that is tantamount to being a Turing complete scheme. Why
not put javascript in the DNS while we are at it?

Trying to use NAPTR here results in records whose effects cannot be
predicted by machines and thus prevent automation of administrative
processes.
