It makes issue tracking and investigation so much simpler. Indeed, and I wholly concur. My saying “it's for the best” is just me agreeing with the previous statement without sounding demanding ;) FWIW, my “adoption succeeded” message says it, albeit not explicitly. That message was carefully worded, saying to republish the specific version that went through the adoption call with the new name. The implicit understanding is that no other change would be present so that all the subsequent updates can be tracked. Thanks for surfacing this important point. > Tom Petch Kent / as co-chair
