Der NETCONF, We published draft-tgraf-netconf-notif-sequencing-06 with the following changes: - Addressed feedback from NMOP that notification changes should be discoverable. - Section 2.1 describes new netconf notification with hostname and sequence capability. - Section 2.2 describes new YANG-related system capabilities. Netconf notification with hostname and sequence capability is now discoverable through extended YANG-related system capabilities defined in RFC 9196. - Minor editorial changes and implementation status section added. Thanks a lot for your review. Looking forward to feedback and comments. Best wishes Thomas -----Original Message----- From: internet-drafts@ietf.org <internet-drafts@ietf.org> Sent: Sunday, June 30, 2024 8:15 AM To: Alex Feng <alex.huang-feng@insa-lyon.fr>; Alex Huang Feng <alex.huang-feng@insa-lyon.fr>; Jean Quilbeuf <jean.quilbeuf@huawei.com>; Graf Thomas, INI-NET-VNC-HCS <Thomas.Graf@swisscom.com> Subject: New Version Notification for draft-tgraf-netconf-notif-sequencing-06.txt Be aware: This is an external email. A new version of Internet-Draft draft-tgraf-netconf-notif-sequencing-06.txt has been successfully submitted by Thomas Graf and posted to the IETF repository. Name: draft-tgraf-netconf-notif-sequencing Revision: 06 Title: Support of Hostname and Sequencing in YANG Notifications Date: 2024-06-30 Group: Individual Submission Pages: 16 URL: https://www.ietf.org/archive/id/draft-tgraf-netconf-notif-sequencing-06.txt Status: https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-tgraf-netconf-notif-sequencing/ HTMLized: https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/html/draft-tgraf-netconf-notif-sequencing Diff: https://author-tools.ietf.org/iddiff?url2=draft-tgraf-netconf-notif-sequencing-06 Abstract: This document specifies a new YANG module that augments the NETCONF Event Notification header to support the hostname and sequence number to identify from which network node and at which time the message was published. This allows the collector to recognize loss, delay and reordering between the publisher and the downstream system storing the messages. The IETF Secretariat
