Dear Netconf WG,

We just published a new version of UDP-notif draft addressing the last IETF feedback.

The changes between -05 and -06 are mainly in the YANG module:
• The port is made mandatory in the yang
• Grouping name changed from “target-receiver” to “udp-receiver-grouping”
• Added 2 new features into the yang module: dtls-supported and segmentation
• Changed leaf name max-segmentation-size to max-segment-size
• Added a new container for DTLS parameters configuration
• Imports grouping ietf-tls-client from draft-ietf-netconf-tls-client-server-28 in the yang module

We are planning to add an example of the YANG in the upcoming version.
I will present these changes and the upcoming planned changes in the next IETF114.

All new feedback is welcomed.

Best regards,

Alex Huang Feng

> Abstract:
> This document describes an UDP-based notification mechanism to
> collect data from networking devices. A shim header is proposed to
> facilitate the data streaming directly from the publishing process on
> network processor of line cards to receivers. The objective is to
> provide a lightweight approach to enable higher frequency and less
> performance impact on publisher and receiver processes compared to
> already established notification mechanisms.
