Hi Med,

Thanks for the poke, especially when I know what to say :-).

I have discussed this with the IESG and IANA. After considering the
feedback I received it makes more sense to have a IETF consensus document
to retire those assigned port numbers.

There was an IETF consensus or procedure to put the values in the registry,
and we would perhaps never know for sure that those ports are not used as
registered. Hence, let's publish a RFC documenting the reason and have the
IETF consensus procedure to retire those porst and assignments.
