Docomo has a connection manager for HSDPA data connection for MAC and  
WIN in Japan!!!!
In addition, user is advised to use this software to connect DoCoMo's  
WiFi network...

Not so many people use UNIX laptop these days.
Are you saying the linux is reference implementation for PMIP  
discussion?
