I am attempting to compile a list of all known software for pc's Mac's and unix based workstations that can display TIFF images on them. Im doing this both in preparation for a project that we are doing here at UC involving bitmapped images and also to begin the process of trying to get as manay of them as possible to start using the new netfax format we have defined and gotten to proposed RFC status. I would appreciate it if folks could send me info on any software they know about, both proprietary and public domain that handle TIFF format files. If they could include as much information as possible about the software such as platform it runs on, requirements, availablility (anonymous ftp site for public domain, vendor info and price for propietary) and any other descriptive information that is needed to use the software that would be great. I will undertake to summarize the info and either post it back to the list or make it available as a file for anonymous ftp if that makes more sense. Thanks in advance for everyone's help ----------------------------------------------------------- Mark H Needleman Coordinator Advanced Technology Development University of California Division of Library Automation Kaiser Center Room 854 300 Lakeside Drive Oakland, CA 94612-3550 510-987-0530 FAX: 510-839-3573 Internet: mhn@stubbs.ucop.edu Bitnet : MHNUR@UCCMVSA
