If you are running Ghostscript 3.0 look at
	/usr/local/lib/ghostscript/pstoppm.ps
which conerts postscript to ppm. The pbmplus utilities then provide
a filter to convert ppm to g3 format.

I have a slightly customised version of pstoppm.ps which converts
postscript to ppm using the correct horizontal and vertical
densities for g3 faxes.
Let me know if you want a copy of this.

Cheers,
	Bernd
