My rational was that there aren't too many RPCs or Actions defined hence 
changing it would be OK. :-)

I thought about suggesting "X" and "O" for deprecated and obsolete, but 
that would seem to draw attention to those nodes, which is probably the 
reverse of what is wanted.

I guess another alternative could be to leave deprecated and obsolete 
nodes out of the YANG tree output all together ... Personally, I like 
the idea of leaving out obsolete nodes since they are just noise, but 
I'm less sure about leaving out the deprecated nodes.  However, I know 
that Martin has left out the deprecated -state tree in 7223bis to make 
the tree diagram more concise.
