Hi All, Since adoption call of 'Digital Twin Network: Concepts and Reference Architecture' was issued, the draft -06 has been well reviewed by the NRMG experts in the mailing list. We, authors, are very grateful to all the reviewers for your valuable comments. As attached, we just submitted an updated version -07, which addressed most of the comments. In summary, major changes in this version are as below. o Resequenced the sections via adding more subsections on concepts of digital twin network, removing the 'Requirements Language' section, and moving ahead the 'Challenges' section. o Cited more papers, or industrial information on digital twin concepts and digital twin for networks. o Added more information on describing the challenges and key characteristics digital twin network. o Closed previous open issue on investigating related digital twin network work and identify the differences and commonalities, and added several new open issues for future studies. Hope you can help review -07 version, and especially provide comments on below 4 points to help us improve the draft. 1) Should a new section of 'enabling technologies' be added in the document? Note that current draft focuses on concept and architecture of digital twin network, not including enabling technologies. 2) Section 5 list challenges on building digital twin network. Welcome comments on them, and provide other challenges if any. 3) Which level of details should the document to include without losing its purpose, especially for ‘challenges', and 'enabling technologies’? 4) What are the research directions on digital twin network to enrich section 9? Should the document be updated to include “generic” research directions or focus on architecture matters? We, authors, suggest to focus on architectural matters given that the document is describing a reference architecture. Looking forward to your comments or inputs. Thanks and Best Regards, Cheng Zhou (On behalf of co-authors) -----Original Message----- From: internet-drafts@ietf.org [mailto:internet-drafts@ietf.org] Sent: Saturday, March 5, 2022 11:32 PM To: Antonio Pastor; Cheng Zhou; Christian Jacquenet; Diego Lopez; Hongwei Yang; Mohamed Boucadair; Qin WU; Qin Wu; Xiaodong Duan Subject: New Version Notification for draft-zhou-nmrg-digitaltwin-network-concepts-07.txt A new version of I-D, draft-zhou-nmrg-digitaltwin-network-concepts-07.txt has been successfully submitted by Cheng Zhou and posted to the IETF repository.
