Subject: New version of extensions draft available
Given some of the comments here and on news.software.nntp, I have revised the nntp extensions draft again. The new version is available at the following URL. Your comments on this document are welcome. You should also begin thinking of which extensions in this document should be lifted into the merged document that will be available as a draft in August. What is in the August draft is certainly not the final say on this subject. It's really a reference to help shape the discussion. As discussed in the Montreal meeting, the merged document will be styled as a standards track document where as this document is not styled that way. Thanks in advance for your constructive and thoughtful criticism. The URL for the draft is: ftp://ftp.academ.com/pub/nntp/private/nntp.extensions.draft.txt [Note: This is a protected directory, so you will have to just get the file without trying to do a directory listing there.]
