The claim is, of course, incorrect. You might make your own assessment
regarding you think the existing ___ is already good enough. That
doesn't mean port randomization accomplishes nothing.

In fact, port randomization is a best current practice (RFC6056 / BCP
156). So I'd argue that you should actually make a case for predictable
port numbers, rather than the other way around.

We have had plenty of evidence that employing predictable numeric ids is
a bad idea. It is quite interesting that in 2019 (after dealing with
predictable TCP ISNs, predictable DNS TxIDs, predictable IPv{4,6} frag
ids, etc.), there are still folks arguing in favor of employing
predictable numeric identifiers...
