Folks,

The two week IETF 108 marathon is upon us.

There is a small group working on NTS related stuff at the hackathon (note the project description at: https://trac.ietf.org/trac/ietf/meeting/wiki/108hackathon). They are pursuing interoperability and performance testing of various NTS implementations. We should have a short report of their activities during the wg session next week.

Speaking of next week, a draft agenda for the NTP WG session has been posted in the meeting materials and copied below. The NTP wg session is on Friday 31 July 2020 at 11:00 UTC. We haven't had any draft contributions related to NTPv5 discussions, but I left it on the agenda for an open discussion. Any comments or additions are welcome. Please note, that there is a registration fee for the remote meeting this time. There is a fee waiver process that can be followed, but you really need to get moving to qualify. This is an all virtual meeting using a dramatically expanded version of Meetecho including authentication with datatracker credentials. You should definitely spend a little time before the 31st to figure out the details of the meeting if you wish to participate. (https://www.ietf.org/how/meetings/108/session-participant-guide/)

Regards,
Karen
