Hello NVO3,

Recently, we've uploaded the latest version of the NVO3 base YANG module draft. Please find the outline of this update.

1. Using grouping to define the statistic information instead of repeating it twice.
2. Minor modification of the statistic container: removing the vni-mode from the key since (vni, peer ip, direction) can uniquely decide the object; remove the constraint on the direction.
3. Change "vtep" to "nve", making the terminology align with RFC8014.
4. Modify the format of some descriptions according to standard format, including upper/lower case and punctuation.
5. Add IPv6 capabilities to some leaves, e.g., the peer-nve, the bypass-nve, the flood-proxy and the multicast groups.

The errors of the yang module is due to the ietf-bgp-l3vpn YANG, which is still in progress, while the NVO3 base YANG augments it. The other parts of nvo3-base YANG passes the YANG validation.

Your comments are appreciated.

Best regards,
Bing

A New Internet-Draft is available from the on-line Internet-Drafts directories.
This draft is a work item of the Network Virtualization Overlays WG of the IETF.

Title : Base YANG Data Model for NVO3 Protocols
        Authors : Bing Liu
                          Ran Chen
                          Fengwei Qin
                          Reshad Rahman
	Filename : draft-ietf-nvo3-yang-cfg-03.txt
	Pages : 26
	Date : 2020-08-30

Abstract:
This document describes the base YANG data model that can be used by
operators to configure and manage Network Virtualization Overlay
protocols. The model is focused on the common configuration
requirement of various encapsulation options, such as VXLAN, NVGRE,
GENEVE and VXLAN-GPE. Using this model as a starting point,
incremental work can be done to satisfy the requirement of a specific
   encapsulation.
