Hiya, dkg and I just had a chairs' call where we went over the remaining few changes/merge-requests and we think we're still in good shape to get a new I-D out in the next week or so (editor time availability permitting). dkg will work with the editor and others on gitlab to cross the various t's and dot occasional i's on that. Once that draft pops out, our plan is to allow a few days for people to check it, and all being well, to then hit the publication-requested button and start the rechartering discussion on the list. (It could be that some test vectors may still need tweaks at that point, but we're ok with that happening as we get updated test vectors, since those don't need any debate that could de-rail progress.) This is where we think we're at with the current set of merge-requests [1]: - 239 ready to merge - 238 ready to merge (this closes 236, 235) - 233 ready to merge, dkg to check a thing with list - 232 sf to send mail to list (basically: leave to editor discretion) - 228 updated recently, dkg to check and revert to list if not ready - 227 ready to merge, modulo rebase - 223 ready to merge, modulo rebase - 220 ready to merge - 219 ready to merge, needs a test vector change (can be done later if not ready in time) - 216 ready to merge - 213 ready to merge - 205 ready to merge Others: - 222 chairs think best marked as unchartered (discuss under rechartering) - 214 as per interim meeting: GOTO recharter - 209 an alternative (212) was merged, so maybe close this as lacking sufficient consensus to merge at this point - everything else: previously marked as unchartered (feel free to bring into re-chartering discussion) There's also been some list discussion about OIDs, that I'll reply to separately in a second. All in all, I think we're nearly there, so *please* don't bring up new changes (pretty please:-). There will be plenty of time for review as we go through the remaining steps in the process so anything that needs fixing can of course still be fixed. Cheers, S.
