A new version of NeTraMet, the first implementation of the Internet
Accounting Architecture (outlined in RFC 1272, "Internet Accounting
Background") is now available.

Version 3.2 uses libpcap to access packet headers.  This greatly
increases the range of operating systems on which the NeTraMet meter
can run; binary distribution files are available for Solaris, SunOS,
Irix and linux.  Libpcap also supports FDDI interfaces; this option is
implemented for NeTraMet, but not completely tested.
