Two points.

I am not happy that this network management journal spammed several
lists when a single posting to comp.dcom.net.management would have done it.
That's dumb enough. What's really silly is that people are replying to
their solicitation and sending their names, addresses and all that to
sixteeen or so lists. So don't do it. When you gleefully hit 'r' to reply
to the message, please check the destination address carefully, unless you
really want to send your application to over a thousand people.

Network professionals should know better.
