Dear managers,
Hereby I send the final agenda for the NameFLOW-Paradise meeting the 21 and 22
of September at ULCC in London. For further information on how to get there
and so on, please use our webserver: <http://www.dante.net/np/meeting.html>
The agenda isn't in the most logical order, it is because most have speakers
have other appointments.
Thursday:
10:00 Early arrival and coffee
10:30 Agenda and administration
11:00 Redacs Namman (Speaker Paddy Boocock, Unysis)
Paddy is invited to talk about a working and successful X.500
Directory Service to provide access management services in
a large-scale multi-protocol network environment. REDACS
started in 1989 and the presentation will demonstrate it's
evolution.
13:00 Food
14:00 Country updates
- Belgium
- Euuh? Others? (I propose to have a "Round-the-table-session").
14:30 EurOSInet (Speaker Chris Ridd)
Chris will tell something about the NHS Directory Pilot and about
the Eurosinet workshops. He is the editor of the Eurosinet
X.500(88) test suite and we will look into the possibilities
to an X.500(93) test suite.
16:00 Storing PGP Keys in the Directory. (Speaker Roland Hedberg)
17:00 PARTY: PGP signing party
Friday
10:00 Whois++ (Speaker Alan Emtage)
During the last meeting there were multiple requests from people
interested in Whois++ and it's potential (Alternative to X.500).
Alan Emtage is the V.P of Technology at Bunyip the company who
brought us DIGGER, the first Whois++ implementation.
12:00 Food
13:00 Customer meeting / NP-93 pilot
15:00 end
Mind that the agenda (times) could slightly change .....
