Regarding the UKAC Directory policy ...

o Are there different rules for direct accesses vs. chained accesses ?

o How much of this policy is driven by the legal
requirements of retaining status as a member of the UK
Academic Community vs. UK general legal requirements
vs. good taste. Looked at from another direction, what
are the risks for a Directory provider within this
system ? I imagine that one could end up in court being
sued, lose institutional status, or be picketed by
        swarms of angry subscribers.

o To complement the policy, what technical means of
compliance measurement or enforcement are being
 	 discussed or implemented ?
