Greg, et al,

I was puzzled that the IESG "approved" something as experimental.
That nomenclature doesn't require approval by IESG - but IESG
can remand something to Postel for experimental publication
on the grounds that the proposal isn't appropriate for standards
track. Jon should be free to determine experimental versus
information, I believe. Of course, the IESG suggestions in that
regard are very helpful.

Just looking for clarification of procedures (please refer to
RFC 1310).
