Dear Bruce,

Why do you dignify these actions as 'law enforcement' or even as
'national defense' when we're discussing illegal spying?

Rosa Luxemburg said something terribly relevant and it bares repeating
after I've read your response:

   “Those who do not move, do not notice their chains.”

The early internet protocols have major security issues and it is time
to fix them. Pervasive surveillance, censorship and malware is a serious
threat regardless of your feelings about the NSA. The vulnerabilities
need to be fixed and pervasive strong end-user-controlled encryption is
part of the solution.
