Well, you are reading me wrong. Please stop now.
Have you asked anyone at the EFF what they think of your legal opinions?
I have been in the position of stating my intention to violate national law and having EFF advise me to stop for my own safety. It was a DMCA issue. EFF does not advise you to put your own head on the block.

It's not what your software does, Jacob. It is the fact that folks here clearly and publicly presented this as not just a way to stop some random bad actor, but a way to stop NSA. For many of them, a branch of their own government's defense department. And I just told them they were ill-advised!
