I support publication. The draft is helpful for domains that don’t support PIM neighbors such as BIER. PLI could be an alternative to PIM core RFC 6037 MDT SAFI, but now still using MDT SAFI but without having PIM enabled in the core essentially PIM free with PLI interfaces in the core and able to build data plane state over the core. I guess this could be a future use case draft to PLI. Using PLI interfaces in the core it eliminates neighbor stare so could conceivably be used in stateless SR networks. Another possibility of use case draft for PLI.
