Subject: FYI - IPv7 Pilots: European Activities

To assist in the establishment of piloting activities for the proposed IP
version 7 protocols and in the dissemination of the resulting experience,
a number of activities have been established in Europe:

SIP:

RIPE will provide a discussion forum for SIP pilot activities.
        Further information from Christian Huitema.
                (Christian.Huitema@sophia.inria.fr)

TUBA:

The RARE CLNS pilot project will also encompass TUBA pilots.
Contact Victor Reijs (Victor.Reijs@SURFnet.nl) for more
        information.

PIP:

Zheng Wang will co-ordinate PIP pilots within Europe. He
        can be contacted at Z.Wang@cs.ucl.ac.uk.

All of these activities aim to provide a regional discussion of the issues
involved whilst forming part of a global piloting activity. Also, by providing
local focal points for discussion, it is hoped that co-ordination of
activities can be improved. Anyone planning to participate in IPv7 pilots
in Europe is encouraged to register their intentions with one of the above.
