I think it important that we talk about how PIP had figured out to use
existing ARP.  One of the least unknowns in SIP at the code base level
is if when we define this new System Discovery scheme what is its
difference and coexistence with old IPv4 systems using ARP.  Many other
issues too like Autoconfiguration with BOOTP, what happens to DNS, are
EIDs a good idea (i think so).  Some believe BOOTP is not good for
system discovery and others believe it is.  These kind of discussions
need to take place openly and publicly A.S.A.P. and in Houston from my
perspective.
