The following errata report has been submitted for RFC5480, "Elliptic Curve Cryptography Subject Public Key Information". -------------------------------------- You may review the report below and at: http://www.rfc-editor.org/errata_search.php?rfc=5480&eid=4170 -------------------------------------- Type: Editorial Reported by: Annie Yousar <a.yousar@informatik.hu-berlin.de> Section: 4 Original Text ------------- ---------+----------+------------+----------- 256 | 512 | SHA-512 | secp521r1 ---------+----------+------------+----------- Corrected Text -------------- ---------+----------+------------+----------- 256 | 512+ | SHA-512 | secp521r1 ---------+----------+------------+----------- Notes ----- The first table in section 4 (p. 9) provides the right text. The corresponding line in the table on p. 10 is the wrong one. In fact the key size is exactly 521 and not only 512+. Therefore 512+ in both tables could also be replaced by 521. Instructions: ------------- This erratum is currently posted as "Reported". If necessary, please use "Reply All" to discuss whether it should be verified or rejected. When a decision is reached, the verifying party (IESG) can log in to change the status and edit the report, if necessary. -------------------------------------- RFC5480 (draft-ietf-pkix-ecc-subpubkeyinfo-11) -------------------------------------- Title : Elliptic Curve Cryptography Subject Public Key Information Publication Date : March 2009 Author(s) : S.
