My wants are not great. I just want to ISOC Trustees, or at least
some significant number of them, to appear in person and tell us what
they think of us and what we are doing. Tell us what they intend to
do for and to us, to help us or guide us or whatever.

I think it is called "Talk to us!" "Take questions from the floor!'

Stef -

Have you tried sending mail to the trustees individually? I've never
had a problem getting people like Lyman Chapin, Vint Cerf, Geoff
Huston, Larry Landweber, Tony Rutkowski, or Mike Roberts to answer mail
messages. Did you take advantage of the ISOC BOF at the last IETF?
Did you attend the ISOC session at the last Interop? Have you made any
attempt to do your homework on this issue by talking to the people you
seem so eager to attack?

It seems to me that your desire to gather them all to "take questions
from the floor" is an excuse to stage a bit of high drama. Why don't
we concentrate instead on the far more boring work of figuring out what
is wrong with ISOC and *specific* suggestions for fixing it?
