Bill,

in our conversation, you said that the Internet Society wasn't doing
anything and I disagreed. I suggested that if you wanted the Society
to do something it wasn't doing, you should join it and proposed to do 
whatever it was you thought was important, rather than standing
around with your hands in your pockets criticising people who were,
in fact, doing things.
