Hi Vint -- I fully understand about "too much" travel being a problem.
I am perfectly happy to address issues via netmail.

May I suggest that you simply inform the Trustees of the need to
address this "consent of the governed issue" at the plenary, and ask
that they contribute their thoughts about this, and about how they see
their roles as trustees affecting the IETF. Some individually written
texts would be nice to hand out. I would like to get a sense of how
"our" trustees think.

We have had quite a lot of discussion here that they should review.
Just bundle up the POISED discussion so they can see it raw. If "our"
ISOC Trustees have not looked at the raw poised discussion, what kind
of feel can they have for what is going on? I am not in favor of
sheltering us from each other, so I think that providing the Trustees
with the raw transcript will be a very appropriate thing to do.

I have no specific personal concerns about any of them individually.
I really do not know many of them. They are either shadowy figures or
totally unknown to me at this point, with the singular exception of
yourself. Actually, I don't even know who they are. Maybe I know
more of them than I think I do?

Can you post a list? Do they have Email addresses? Cheers...\Stef
