some, but by no means all of the trustees, will be able to attend
the ietf meeting. Because there is a trustees meeting in December,
some members are unable to come to the US twice in two months and
ISOC hasn't adequate resources to pay for such travel. IMHO it is
unfair to interpret travel cost constraints as lack of interest.
I am sure you have also experienced these kind of balancing problems.

I would invite the ietf members who have questions to raise them
in the ietf poised meeting, if they wish, or send them by email
to me. I will accumulate them and copy them to the trustees.
