A core issue in this poised proceeding was triggered by a broad feeling that the IETF governed had not given their consent to the whole ISOC/IAB governance maneuver. They still have not, while we now have claims that "we all just assumed it". Well, I think it is nice that you all just assumed it, but I don't think you have any kind of rough consensus on this issue. Stef - Have you even read the draft that we posted? We spent a great deal of time looking at the question of ISOC and what would make ISOC a suitable organizational home for the IETF. We're not trying to "run roughshod" over anybody, but it sure would be nice if you stopped flaming, rolled up your sleeves, and got to work. Again: what is specifically wrong with ISOC and what are your *SPECIFIC* suggestions to fix it? Carl
