Bill -

Today INTEROP, tommorrow the world. We have enough problems inside the
IETF without tackling ever broader circles. I know it is tempting to
use POISED as a forum for venting all dissatisfaction with all things
networking, but it is always useful to pause and ponder the words of
the other Simpson: "Don't have a cow, man."

We should focus on issues that we have some power to correct. For example,
we have an opportunity to help influence how the ISOC functions at the
same time as we consider what our own internal structure ought to be.
While I hear dissatisfaction from you and Stef on ISOC, I'm unable to
identify specific aspects of ISOC that can be corrected that would make
you feel better about the organization.

Do you have any specific suggestions?

Carl
