Dear QIRG,

We will be meeting online during the IETF-109 week (16 Nov 2020 - 20 Nov 2020). Please note that whilst this meeting will be online, there will be fees for attendance (though much lower than for in-person attendance): https://registration.ietf.org/109/. Note that there is a significant discount for full-time students and fee waivers are available for those for whom these fees pose a problem (everything is in the link).

With this e-mail I would also like to call for agenda items for the meeting. If you would like to present please express your intent on the mailing list or by contacting the chairs by 30 October.

We would like to start encouraging contributions beyond just Internet-Draft work. If you have some research work you would like to present, please contact the chairs (qirg-chairs@ietf.org<mailto:qirg-chairs@ietf.org>) with an abstract. As an example, at IETF 109 we already have an invited speaker lined up to talk about MDI-QKD (a proto-quantum-repeater network).

I would particularly encourage work that is relevant to the IETF/IRTF community. Some suggestions (this list is not exhaustive by any means): real world deployments, testbeds, applications, quantum network protocols, quantum network management, quantum network security, etc.

Regards,
Wojtek
