The definition of idle given in the Seattle slides (which note that spec text is needed) is the time since any of the following: - Last *new* app data sent or received - Last PING sent, retransmissions excluded - Last PING received The definition of path timeout, separately, is the time since the first unacked packet for which an ACK is expected (i.e. not ACK-only) *and* whose packet number is greater than the largest ever acked. -- You are receiving this because you are subscribed to this thread.
