Hi all,

as you may have seen we submitted new revisions of both the Applicability and the Manageability Statement on Monday. For these reversions we merged in a whole bunch of PRs we received or created based on feedback from wglc. There are still a bunch of issues and PRs open on github and I will send a separate mail on those. We plan to discuss and resolve those before or during the meeting and then submit another revision hopefully soon after the meeting.

The large part of the merged PRs were either purely editorial or fixed something obviously unclear or outdated. Find the full list below of those PRs (in case you really want to know). There were only three PRs for each document where we really added new text. These additions already received reviews from multiple people and were entirely uncontroversial or also mostly clarifications. I would say the only real new text is the new section on ICMP and that guidance should also be straight-forward. The list of those PRs is here:

Applicability Statement:

Add a sentence on taps<https://github.com/quicwg/ops-drafts/pull/259> #259 to address part of #203<https://github.com/quicwg/ops-drafts/issues/203>

Ordered and reliable will be assumed<https://github.com/quicwg/ops-drafts/pull/228> #228 fixes #215<https://github.com/quicwg/ops-drafts/issues/215>

Stream ID interactions<https://github.com/quicwg/ops-drafts/pull/270> #270 fixes #263<https://github.com/quicwg/ops-drafts/issues/263>

Manageability Statement:

Update MTU to Min QUIC packet size in manageability<https://github.com/quicwg/ops-drafts/pull/262> #262 fixes #177<https://github.com/quicwg/ops-drafts/issues/177>

New section on ICMP<https://github.com/quicwg/ops-drafts/pull/249> #249 fixes #200<https://github.com/quicwg/ops-drafts/issues/200>

Make it clear that the spin bit generates samples<https://github.com/quicwg/ops-drafts/pull/226> #226 fixes #180<https://github.com/quicwg/ops-drafts/issues/180>

Let us know if you have any further comments on these or fill an issue in github!

Thanks to everybody how reviewed these documents in wgcl and provided feedback/PRs!

Mirja and Brian
