Éric Vyncke has entered the following ballot position for draft-ietf-regext-epp-registry-maintenance-17: No Objection When responding, please keep the subject line intact and reply to all email addresses included in the To and CC lines. (Feel free to cut this introductory paragraph, however.) Please refer to https://www.ietf.org/blog/handling-iesg-ballot-positions/ for more information about how to handle DISCUSS and COMMENT positions. The document, along with other ballot positions, can be found here: https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-ietf-regext-epp-registry-maintenance/ ---------------------------------------------------------------------- COMMENT: ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Thank you for the work put into this document. Please find below some non-blocking COMMENT points (but replies would be appreciated even if only for my own education). I hope that this helps to improve the document, Regards, -éric -- Section 3.3 -- In "mantid", should the reference for the encoding of the language be mentioned ? The use of "maint:tlds" seems to indicate a limitation to top-level domains only (even if the text mentions later "registry zone") but EPP is used not only for TLD. Suggest to make it even clearer (as I am afraid that it is too late in the process to change the element name). -- Section 4.1.3.1 -- In the example, there is "<maint:type lang="en">" but lang is not specified as an attribute of "maint:type" in section 3.3.
