Well, that was what the tao-discuss list was set up for, and I
confess that I left that list a long time ago. However, judging
by https://mailarchive.ietf.org/arch/browse/tao-discuss/, there
hasn't been much substantive discussion there**, and (as often
observed) design-team style work on GitHub does not in any way
approach a community consensus process.

So, for this fairly important chunk of our web site, can we please
have a diff to look in some digestible format, and some community
review? If that happens on tao-discuss, I'd be happy to rejoin.
