Of course, there was a good reason that Tim and Robert included <b> and <i> (and <br> for
that matter) in HTML originally: to stop the yelling in their ears because bold, italics
(and blank lines) required too much typing and were difficult to remember.

Users really can be a nuisance sometimes.
