The Routing Domain stuff is still somewhat unclear to me. I understand from the MIB that the Domain is a second key (along with IP address) to the peer table. This implies that a router can have the same IP address associated with more than one domain. However, the Domain does not seem to be a key to the ifconf table, as if each RIP Interface belonged to only one domain. Am I missing something here (or is it the MIB that's missing something ?) Another, even more confused question, is about passing routing information between domains: A router operating in two RIP2 routing domains shouldn't include in its RIP messages to one domain its routing table entries that belong to the other domain, should it ? Is the router expected to do route leaking between them ? Based on configured policies ? Benny Rodrig Rad Network Devices Ltd. E-mail: 437-3580@mcimail.com
