I think that Pascal might have had some extension in mind when he wrote the
"inspected" part.  Part of the reason for useofrplinfo was to make sure that
we actually understood all of the cases, and there were some surprises among
a few, and that partly led to unaware-leaves being written.

so, we'll stick with "consumed"
