Hello Rahul and all draft-ietf-roll-efficient-npdao specifies the DCO for storing mode only: The non-storing MOP does not require use of NPDAO for route invalidation since routing entries are not maintained on 6LRs. And then Just like DAO in storing MOP, the DCO is sent using link-local unicast source and destination IPv6 address. In the RUL draft we use it in non-storing mode. It is actually useful for the Root to invalidate a state in the remote 6LR. This seems useful in the general case. So should we indicate that the RUL draft updates draft-ietf-roll-efficient-npdao or allow non-storing in NPDAO? Considering that NPDAO is far in the process, for now I'm doing the former, but that seems to reduce the power of NPDAO. Take care, Pascal
