Following the same reasoning, I think we should consider ROT13 as the
MTI encryption algorithm in rtcweb, since it's clearly the one with the
lowest possible burden to implement. Then, implementers would be free to
consider AES, 3DES, Blowfish or Enigma, taking into account the costs
and benefits.
