I think that would be a new point. It has a significantly different
implications than the current 6. I will add it as 9. to the list.
Unless you like to withdraw it from consideration.

I agree that is not an MTI. However, it reduces the space of possible
video codec implementations a transcoder absolutely need to support to
only two, instead of any. Thus, I has merit in the set of proposals for
alternatives.
