     Same difference. Whether you need to implement a new API or simply 
expose existing an implementation, it takes months for users to upgrade 
to this new version and for it to actually work as expected (initial 
releases tend to be unstable or missing features). Furthermore, there is 
no guarantee that Apple will release said API anytime soon. For these 
reasons, I stand by my comment that real-time H.264 support does not 
exist (for developers outside of Apple).
