Hi all,

-09 addresses the comments from Deborah as part of the IESG review.

Changes are mostly editorials:
- the name of the algo has been changed to "SPF Back-off Delay algorithm"
- the unnecessary term "abstract" have been removed on a few occasions
- the following sentence has been removed as it does not help in specifying the algo. "Optionally, implementations may also offer alternative algorithms"

 > A diff from the previous version is available at:

We still have to resolve the comments from Alvaro (once he returns from vacation)

 > Abstract:
 > This document defines a standard algorithm to temporarily postpone or
 > 'back-off' link-state IGP Shortest Path First (SPF) computations.
 > This reduces the computational load and churn on IGP nodes when
 > multiple temporally close network events trigger multiple SPF
 > computations.
 >
 > Having one standard algorithm improves interoperability by reducing
 > the probability and/or duration of transient forwarding loops during
 > the IGP convergence when the IGP reacts to multiple temporally close
 > IGP events.
