SACM was approved to host a 'side meeting' at the next IETF meeting, IETF 83, Paris France. The side meeting will be used to help the group determine our scope of work as we work towards a charter. Initial work items and drafts will be discussed as described in the BOF related messages. We are not sure what time slot we will be assigned for the side meeting. It may happen on Sunday, March25th prior to the Welcome Reception. For those new to the IETF, there are several introductory sessions that take place on Sunday and are very helpful to learning more about the IETF. I highly recommend attending these sessions.

We may also be assigned an evening slot during the week. We will let everyone know when the meeting will take place as soon as we know.

MILE and NEA have related work, so you may want to consider attending those sessions as well as any others that peak your interest. The IETF covers a broad range of topics. You may want to look at the list of working groups in advance and read some documents to have an understanding of the various sessions. It is a great learning opportunity on cutting edge work.

We look forward to seeing you at this and other meetings that week!

Thank you,
