Hi, dear all. I have updated my draft of SDN and NFV co-deployment in cloud datacenters. In this draft, the deployment of SDN network with virtual machines and bare-metal servers are introduced. As some physical servers without hypervisor exist due to the current situation, we update the draft with bare-metal servers information Any comments about the draft or experience about the SDN of bare-metal servers are welcomed. Name: draft-gu-sdnrg-problem-statement-of-sdn-nfv-in-dc Revision: 01 Title: Problem statement of SDN and NFV co-deployment in cloud datacenters Document date: 2016-02-29 Group: Individual Submission Pages: 12 URL: https://www.ietf.org/internet-drafts/draft-gu-sdnrg-problem-statement-of-sdn-nfv-in-dc-01.txt Status: https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-gu-sdnrg-problem-statement-of-sdn-nfv-in-dc/ Htmlized: https://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-gu-sdnrg-problem-statement-of-sdn-nfv-in-dc-01 Diff: https://www.ietf.org/rfcdiff?url2=draft-gu-sdnrg-problem-statement-of-sdn-nfv-in-dc-01 Abstract: With the development of cloud computing technology, cloud datacenters have been influenced. Co-deployment of SDN and NFV technology shows its distinct advantages of vitalizing network resources in providing VPC services and SFC services. In order to deploy SDN and NFV in cloud datacenters, a resolution test has been conducted. According to the resolution test, SDN and NFV technology has been nearly mature for the commercial deployment in operators' network. However, there are some key problems on network architecture, virtualized platform, standard interfaces, performance of SDN devices and so on to be working out in practical practice. Please note that it may take a couple of minutes from the time of submission until the htmlized version and diff are available at tools.ietf.org. The IETF Secretariat
