Well, I shall ask the authors to treat them as comments that need to be
considered and discussed with possible document changes.

Were we to treat them like any other last call comments you would simply get a
response saying "thanks for your thoughts which we will examine to see whether
they can be useful, but please be aware that the last call completed some weeks
ago" :-)
