Hi! A few items of housekeeping: ** A meeting slot at IETF 114 has been requested. Tentatively it is scheduled for Wednesday, July 27 [1]. It is currently labeled as a BoF. If chartering were to conclude, there would be a state change in the datatracker and it would be labeled a WG meeting. ** Coming out of the SECRET BoF, there was consensus not to use that name should a WG be formed. I was trying to delay committing us to TIGRESS until after the chartering discussions was in later stages, but a choice on a name needed to schedule the IETF 114 meeting. See [2]. We could still change the name as there is no WG, but we would need a very good reason to cycle it yet again. ** Since we now have a TIGRESS datatracker entry and it is required to administrative move a charter through the review process, the canonical version of the charter is at [4]. By all means, github can still be used to propose pull requests. ** I appreciate that when the BoF name is different than the WG, we end up in a situation where the mailing list doesn't match WG name. Long term, this creates confusion when email alias are not consistent. We can initiate a cut-over to tigress@ietf if a WG is chartered. However, for now, since that's where the discussion have been started, please continue to use secret@ietf [3]. ** Based on the rough consensus from the BoF [6] and the second call on the mailing list [7], I have sent the charter for initial review to the IESG (scheduled for the Thursday, June 30 telechat). They will provide feedback and with their consensus, this charter will be sent for broader review by the community for two weeks. Feedback that has already come in from the IESG that will refine the text a bit and community discussion is ongoing.
